Shadow of the Tomb Raider trial lets you try the beginning of the game on PC, PS4, Xbox One

If you have yet to try Shadow of the Tomb Raider, you can now for free.

Square Enix is offering a free trial for Shadow of the Tomb Raider which allows you to play the game's beginning.

The trial is now live on PC through Steam, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

During the free trial, players will journey with Lara to Cozumel, Mexico. And no, she will not be having fun on the beach and doing "ta-kill-ya" shots at the local tiki bar.

Instead, she's thrust in the middle of the town's Day of the Dead celebrations with her friend Jonah in a "race against Trinity to find a hidden tomb."

After completing the trial, those who purchase Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be able to pick up where they left off, keeping all of their progress and unlocks.
