Sega unveils Total War Battles: Shogun for iOS devices

Sega's lifted the wraps off Total War Battles: Shogun, a brand new spin-off from Creative Assembly for iOS devices.

It'll come to iPad, iPhone and iPod.

CA's digital team is working on the game from the ground up, featuring its own campaign mode and two-player multiplayer on the same device.

Battles will have a stripped version of the gameplay in Shogun 2, but still retains the real-time element. Campaign will last up to ten hours.

Multiplayer will see two players on either end of the device as it drops units until one player is defeated.
