Scribblenauts 2 announced for fall release

The latest issue of Nintendo Power in the US has announced Scribblenauts 2 will be releasing this fall.

The sequel will a be a DS title, despite hints previously made by developer 5th Cell it would end up on Wii in the future.

Also confirmed is 120 new and improved worlds, a level editor, tighter controls, a new hint system and over 10,000 more words to use.

Sounds good to us. The first title was received alright critically, with publisher Warner announcing last month it had sold 1 million units worldwide.
