SCII beta gets map editor this week, Mac beta possibly coming next week

StarCraft II lead Chris Sigaty has revealed to Kotaku the beta will receive a massive update this week, which will also have the inclusion of the map and mod editor.

As well as those, Sigaty also revealed that the Mac version of the beta is coming next week.

Previously, the firm said it had planned to get the Applefied version of the taster out by the end of this month, so it looks it may make it by the skin of its teeth.

The RTS is due out within the first half of this year, with a release date to be announced "in the coming weeks".

A €90 collector's edition was recently announced, while an AO rating was given recently in Korea for it.
