SCEA: Production on PSPgo continuing in North America

PSPgo production may be canned in Japan, but for the time being, it is still rolling off the assembly line in North America, according to an SCEA spokesperson.

Speaking with Industry Gamers, the continued production of the handheld was confirmed, but the spokesperson declined to provide more information than that.

Yesterday, SCEJ confirmed it had ceased production of PSPgo, a day after rumors swirled regarding the matter.

The news was confirmed to Japanese website AV Watch – via Kotaku – in order for the firm “to concentrate on NGP”.

NGP is rumored to be hitting sometime towards the end of the year, in Japan at the very least. Hopefully, we'll know more on the matter at E3, but until then, it looks as though PSPgo is not dead yet.
