Scarlet Nexus release date set for June 25 and it's getting an anime

Scarlet Nexus has been given a release date of June 25.

The game is coming to box Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, and PC digital.

In Scarlet Nexus, you will play as either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall and experience each character’s perspectives on events within the storyline. As their different experiences interweave with each other, it is only then that you will reveal the full story and unlock all the mysteries.

Check out the latest trailer revealing a bit more about Kasane and her party members above.

You will also team up with other characters to take down enemies by using kinetic psychic attacks.

The game takes place in a distant future where a psionic hormone found in the brain has granted folks extra-sensory powers ushering in a new era for humans. Unfortunately, mutants known as Others, with a “thirst for human brains” have appeared, and they are resistant to “conventional attack methods.”

To combat the threat, the Other Suppression Force was formed and its members use their newfound extra-sensory abilities to fight the Others.

Scarlet Nexus is a sci-fi action RPG from Bandai Namco Studios, and development is being led by former members of the team that brought you Tales of Vesperia.

Pre-orders for the game are live and it will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Guardian editions with an early purchase bonus.

The Deluxe Edition (digital only) includes: the game, a Digital Art Book, the Original Soundtrack, Special Battle Attire Set -Red-, Cosmetic “The Other” and SAS Plug-in.

Pre-order bonuses include Special Battle Attire Set -Audio-, Cosmetic "Dream Catcher", Cosmetic "Face Vision Seal" and Attachment Set “Baki".

The game leverages the Smart Delivery technology allowing you to buy the game once and play it on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X.

Scarlet Nexus is also getting an animated series produced by Sunrise. You can check out that trailer below.
