Scarlet Nexus demo now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S

The Scarlet Nexus is ready to download on Series X/S and Xbox One.

Those who want to give Scarlet Nexus a try before they buy can download the demo from today on Xbox systems.

This demo version will also release on PS4 and PS5 next week on Friday, May 28.

In the demo, you can take the control of either Yuito or Kasane until the first boss encounter.

Yuito fights with close-ranged attacks using sword and can borrow Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Clairvoyance, and Sclerokinesis powers from his team members.

Meanwhile, Kanase specializes in mid-ranged attacks with flying knives. She can also use certain powers depending on the composition of her party: Electrokinesis, Hypervelocity, Invisibility, and Duplication.

If you are unfamiliar with sci-fi RPG, it takes place in a far distant future where a psionic hormone found in the brain has granted folks extra-sensory powers ushering in a new era for humans.

Unfortunately, mutants known as Others, with a “thirst for human brains” have appeared, and they are resistant to “conventional attack methods.”

To combat the threat, the Other Suppression Force was formed and its members use their newfound extra-sensory abilities to fight the Others.

The game features a dual protagonist storyline where players can choose to play through the game as either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall and experience the story through their eyes.

You will also learn new details about each character’s squad members and you will need to finish both Yuito and Kasane’s playthrough to get the complete storyline.

Scarlet Nexus will be available from June 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
