Scarface would make a great side-scrolling shooter, and not just because of Tony Montana's M-16.
CineFix' latest creation is remaking Brian De Palma 80's classic Scarface into an 8-bit shooter that would feel right at home on an NES.
There's some 16-bit in there as well.
