Saints Row: The Third to be playable at EB Games Expo

Australian gamers will get their first crack at Saints Row: The Third at this weekend's EB Games Expo at the Gold Coast Convention centre.

The hands-on demo will be promoted by Saints Row characters Zimos, Shaundi and Laura, who are apparently going to be on hand to welcome visitors to the booth, along with a couple of models.

THQ is also bringing along WWE 12, UFC Undisputed 3, uDraw, Disney Universe and - as THQ represents Capcom locally - Street Fighter x Tekken competitions with prizes.

The EB Games Expo goes down on October 16 and 17, and features a number of events including the finals of the local World Cybergames bracket. 2K, Activision, Bethesda, Codemasters, Disney, EA, Konami, Logitech, Bandai Namco, Microsoft, Nintendo, Popcap, Sega, Sony, Square Enix, Ubisoft and Warner Bros will all be in attendance.
