Runescape and Shadow Warrior 3 devs team up for new game

Flying Wild Hog and Jagex have teamed up to develop a new Sci-fi RPG.

Jagex has signed a deal with Flying Wild Hog to launch a new multi-format, living game set for 2021.

The game will launch on Jagex’s new publishing platform, and there are plans for both open and closed beta phases ahead of release.

This will be the first title to be signed to Jagex's third-party publishing division Jagex Partners.

Being built using Unreal Engine 4, the game promises to deliver a "rich, deep, connected, and customizable multiplayer action-RPG gaming experience," full of adventure set in a sci-fi universe.

More details about the Flying Wild Hog title will be revealed in the coming months.

Alo coming from Flying Wild Hog in 2021 is Shadow Warrior 3, which was announced during the Devolver Direct stream back in July. The action-shooter can be wishlisted now on Steam.

In the meantime, you can play a new game developed by the studio, called Devolverland Expo. The free game is a first-person 'marketing simulator' set within an abandoned convention center after the annual Devolver Digital game expo was mysteriously canceled.
