Rumour: FFXIII for December in Japan

According to this NeoGaf post, which apparently comes from "an EA employee", Final Fantasy XIII is wending its merry way towards a December release in Japan.
The poster claims that the game won't release simultaneously worldwide, instead heading to Europe and the States in 2009.
