Rumor: PSP go price drop hitting US on October 15

pspgo

Sony may be dropping the price of PSP go in the US by $50 if a nice tip handed over to Joystiq is to be believed.

According to an image from an unnamed Army and Air Force Exchange Service retail outlet, the handheld is being cut to the $200 mark effective October 15.

When contacted by Joystiq, Sony refused comment on the matter, not even offering up the usual "We don't comment on rumor and speculation" bit.

No word on whether other retailers are offering a similar cut has surfaced, but we'll keep watch for you.
