Rumor - Pre-visualization trailer puts SimCity 5 down for 2013 release

And one more rumor slash purported leak for you today: a pre-visualization trailer stating SimCity 5 will release in 2013.

Earlier this week, alleged concept art for the game were leaked by a German magazine and posted by the Sims Times.

The game, if indeed in development (looking that way isn't' it?) is purportedly 30% finished and makes use of a new graphics engine which will allow players to zoom in on buildings or play it in traditional Sim's style.

A GDC talk called Inside the GlassBox, which will feature one of EA’s development teams giving “a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the GlassBox Simulation Engine, the next-generation technology that is built from the ground up to power the next entry in one of their most beloved franchises”.

The talk is separate from EA’s GameChangers event, which will be streamed from 6pm (2am GMT) PST to 8pm PST (4am GMT) on March 6.

The event will feature a big announcement from EA Maxis.

Watch the video below quickly in case it gets pulled.
