Rumor: Minecraft Bedrock Edition coming to PS4 December 10 with cross-play

Best Buy listed Minecraft Bedrock Edition coming to PS4 on December 10, but decided to pull the retail listing rather quickly.

Luckily, the internet never forgets and and image of the Minecraft Bedrock Edition retail listing was saved. It also appears the game has already started to arrive in shops, as one Twitter user shows in a couple of images.

The date is the rumor and happens to fall on the date of the next State of Play Episode. Sony has been relenting on cross-play with other platforms, specifically Xbox, of late so the cross-play bit isn't too much of a surprise. It's nice, though.

According to the back of the box, a Microsoft account will be required in order to take advantage of cross-play with Xbox. As current rumors state, the game will also feature cross-play between PC, Switch, and Android.

We keep saying rumor because regardless of how official all of this looks, Sony has not made the announcement.

Keep your eyes glued to the State of Play episode on Tuesday, we reckon.
