Rumor - Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock slated for multi-plat release in early 2012

BBC Worldwide uploaded a teaser trailer for a new Doctor Who game called The Eternity Clock earlier today, before swiftly removing it.

We're guessing some Dalek got hold of it, and posted it an effort to get some intern at the BBC offices fired. We could be wrong though.

According to the now removed video: “Gamers can take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they explore the universe of Doctor Who over multiple time periods.”

Doctor Who TV reports it is set for an early 2012 release on PC, PS3 and Vita and is in development from Supermassive Games.

Eurogamer has contacted the BBC for more information, so call it a rumor for now - despite the video snafu - until an official announcement is made.
