Rubenstein: No reported 2.40 problems after successful install

Replying to users on the US PS blog, SCEA's Jeff Rubenstein has said that so far, all the complaints the firm has received regarding the now-pulled Firmware 2.40 update have been regarding installation.

"We’ve received no reports of hardware issues following a successful install," he said.

Sony took the drastic step of removing 2.40 from its servers last night after an unhealthy number of complaints of "bricking" occurred throughout yesterday afternoon and evening.
