Rockstar's Houser Bros. and Benzies inducted into AIAS hall of fame

Rockstar Games continues to dominate the world with its Grand Theft Auto property, and the immovable object the Houser brothers have constructed over the past 16 years is being recognized by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. The Academy will induct founders Dan and Sam Houser and Rockstar president Leslie Benzies into its hall of fame on Thursday, AIAS announced today.

These three are the 18th, 19th and 20th inductees into this hall, which names like Gabe Newell, Mark Cerny and BioWare founds Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuck preceding them. The presentation of the honor will be made by Microsoft's Phil Harrison at the DICE awards in Las Vegas.

This is just another day for Rockstar, however, as parent company Take-Two yesterday revealed they took in $1.86 billion in GTA 5-fueled GAAP revenue for the quarter ending December 31.
