Rocket League gets free 'Neo Tokyo' arena next week

The latest piece of free content is shown off in the gorgeous trailer above. It looks like the new arena will have a ridge around the edge of the arena that slopes back down into a flat surface around each goal.

Two new DLC cars, Masamune and Esper, will also release on June 18. You'll have to pay for those.

Rocket League, which has sold over 5 million units since launch, has made all of its major arena and mode DLC free so far, only charging for cosmetic downloads and new cars.

A physical version of the game, which will include all DLC released thus far and four exclusive vehicles, is due on June 24 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
