Servers for Namco's F2P fighter Rise of the Incarnates will close in December

Namco Bandai has announced its free-to-play online fighting game Rise of the Incarnates will no longer be available for sale from today. The company has also announced it will shut the servers off in mid-December.

Rise of Incarnates is a 2v2 fighter set in 3D renditions of real-world landscapes. It was announced in April of last year and servers went live in July of this year.

"We must regretfully inform all users of the closure of Rise of the Incarnates," reads the statement on the game's Steam page. "We offer our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported this game.

"Starting today, all characters will be free-to-play until service concludes. All customize items, boost items, and other such paid items will be reduced in price, with some going down to free, until service concludes."

Namco will keep the game servers open until December 15.
