Rio Ferdinand is not happy about his FIFA 17 stats

Rio Ferdinand has thrown down the gauntlet to FIFA 17's creators over his in-game ratings card.

Rio Ferdinand is not happy about his FIFA 17 stats

FIFA 17 is finally out, which should be good news for sports fans - although it's a little disappointing for Rio Ferdinand. Widely considered one of England's greatest football players, Ferdinand was featured in-game as a legends character, appearing on FIFA's "Ultimate" team. But when Ferdinand looked at his stats, he wasn't impressed with what he saw.

"Don't let me come in and have to tear the place down!" he wrote on Twitter, after seeing his ratings card depicted 81 for pace and 65 for passing.

Now The Mirror has argued that FIFA 17 might be weighing Ferdinand down over a "disastrous final season" with QPR. But with six Premier League titles and a Champion League victory to his name, FIFA 17 may still be on the low side.

That being said, I'm admittedly far better with understanding video game stats than football ratings, so I'll let our sports fans debate the matter in the comments. FIFA 17 is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
