Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure won't have DLC

Sega doesn't have plans to release extra content for charming 3DS title Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure; DLC wasn't even a thing when development first kicked off.

"I did not consider [DLC] just because I did not know the feature was planned to be included in the 3DS when we started the development back on the DS," producer Shun Nakamura told Cubed3.

"I would have considered if I knew it at the early stage."

However, there's still hope for fans of Raphael's adventures; Nakamura isn't averse to the idea of a sequel.

"I have many things I would like to do for the game system and scenario. I think the sequel will exceed the original if I could realise exactly what I currently have in mind," he said.

Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure launched in Japan, Europe and Australia earlier this year, but arrive sin the US on July 10.
