Pratchett-penned Lost Words: Beyond the Page heads to Switch

Rhianna Pratchett is taking on literary platformer Lost Words: Beyond the Page.

The Tomb Raider writer is lending her pen to Sketchbook Games' indie platformer, which hits PC, Xbox One and PS4 later this year. Today, publisher Mobus added Nintendo Switch to that list in a debut trailer.

Formed of veterans from Fable 2 and the Harry Potter games, Sketchbook Games' latest puts players through a whimsical world wrapped in themes of love, relationships, loss and grief.

"Lost Words: Beyond the Page puts players in the role of a young girl and her adventures through the wondrous fantasy world of Estoria. Players interact with the words themselves to solve challenging puzzles and unique platforming segments to progress through an evolving and aesthetically wondrous landscape."

Lost Words: Beyond the Page launches on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this December.
