Retro Studios "hard at work", no announce planned for some time

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has said we won't hear what Donkey Kong Country returns developer Retro Studios is up to for quite some time.

Speaking to IGN in an extended interview, Fils-Aime answered "not likely" when asked if we'd hear about Retro's work soon.

"If I disclosed what Retro is doing, I would have the president of Retro literally calling me right now saying, 'Reggie, what are you doing?'" he said.

"We love that people are interested. We love surprising people. I remember getting the questions before we announced Donkey Kong Country Returns. And I loved unveiling that.

"So rest assured, the team is hard at work. But I'm not gonna tell you what they're working on."

Retro has been name-dropped in almost every Nintendo rumour since Donkey Kong Country Retruns dropped in 2010.
