Resident Evil: Revelations website opens, mentions a couple of gameplay options

Capcom has opened up the website for Resident Evil: Revelations, and it shows off Jill Valentine and her partner Parker Luciani, who are onboard a ghost ship looking for a missing Chris Redfield.

Luciani, apparently, moved to the BSAA counter bioterrorism organization after leaving another organization after an as of yet unrelieved incident.

Two gameplay mechanisms were also detailed on the site: Perspective Change, which allows the player to go into FPS or over-the-shoulder TPS; and Item Scan, which players will make use of the "bio scanner" device which will help them find hidden items or something so something mysterious when aimed at enemies.

Capcom has yet to reveal what the device does to enemies.

A date has yet to be announced for the single-player 3DS title.
