Resident Evil: Revelations to have multiplayer after all

Upcoming 3DS title Resident Evil: Revelations will sport local and online multiplayer as well as Street Pass.

According to a NeoGaf translation of the game's Japanese website, Revelations supports up to two players.

Although it's not clear whether the two players can engage in versus or co-operative mode.

Earlier this year, Capcom gave out that the game would be single-player only as multiplayer didn't suit the horror atmosphere.

Revelations takes place between the third and fourth core instalments and makes use of the 3DS's upcoming circle pad add on. It's due in early 2012.
