Resident Evil HD Remaster has sold over one million copies worldwide

The HD remaster of Resident Evil has sold over one million copies worldwide since its January 20 release, Capcom has announced.

The company attributed the sales milestone to producing a "great product" along with excellent word of mouth and praise from fans.

In February, Capcom said Resident Evil HD Remaster was its fastest-selling digital title within three weeks of launch.

The game also broke the record for best-selling day one digital title on PlayStation Network.

Resident Evil HD Remaster is available PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
