The wait is almost over.

The Resident Evil 7 Beginning Hour demo was released on PS4 back in June.

It's since had two updates; Twilight expanded the area players could explore in the mansion, and Midnight added even more rooms, a handgun, a new enemy, and additional endings.

And after what seems like forever, PC players can finally get in on the action.

Available on December 19, the PC demo will be coming to Steam with a host of customisable graphics settings for you to fiddle about with.

According to the Steam page, there's still more PC-specific customisation yet to be listed, so look forward to that.

Resident Evil 7 is set to release on January 24 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
