Resident Evil 6 Facebook trailer kills off your friends and family

Resident Evil 6's No Hope Left trailer posits that you are a person with large hands, and everyone you love is dead.

Accessible through Facebook, the trailer skims your friends list to feature in the trailer.

In short order, it had my sister text me (never happens), killed all three of my zombie-prepared brothers (quite unlikely) and offed my ex-partner and father (why were they in the same place?).

It also had me lovingly carry around an image of an ice cream cone, which is pretty accurate. I genuinely have no idea who it is supposed to represent. Assuming your friends also use ridiculous profile pictures, such amusements can be yours here.

Resident Evil 6 is due on October 18, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
