Resident Evil 5 features online co-op, says site

Update: Looks as though the piece has been pulled. Can't beat the internet, Capcom.

Update 2: PS3F's got more. Apparently the co-op's drop-in, like Gears of War. There are some spoilers through there about the story as well, so don't go if your hymen needs to stay intact. Thanks, Blerk.

Oh daddy. According to this Gamesradar preview, upcoming super-hit Resident Evil 5 is to feature online co-op for two players.

The piece mentions a "player two" then later in the article states, "Currently nameless, the mercenary’s inclusion means that, for the first time, you’ll be able to tackle a true Resident Evil game cooperatively online."

Hot diggedy. You've probably seen loads of reports going round about the game hitting this year: it isn't. But we can so wait. Don't forget the new video on May 30.
