Remember Republique?

Republique is an episodic stealth adventure set in a surveillance state, which was crowdfunded way back in April 2012.

Three of five episodes have been released so far, on Android, iOS Mac and PC, but it looks like the last two will be upon us before the shine has worn off the new year, because the whole package will release on PS4 in "early 2016".

Gamespot reports GungHo has picked Republique up for its console debut, and that the PS4 version will have players taking "full control" of protagonist Hope.

Disclosure is fun: I remember backing Republique in those early heady days of games Kickstarters, when we were so buoyed up by Double Fine Adventure that we couldn't let anything fail - and especially not a game by one of the producers of Metal Gear Solid 4. I then promptly forgot about it and am not even sure I've claimed my copy. Should get on that.
