Report - WoW Cataclysm entering Alpha this week

According to a report from WoW.com (via GI), World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will be going Alpha as of this week.

A friends and family beta of the new expansion will supposedly kick off from January 12, which is tomorrow.

A rumour that the alpha will come in the form of a disc, as apparently shown by this, has been proven as fake.

No actual date has been confirmed for the expansion, but it will be out this year.
