Report - New studio set up by RTW staff for MyWorld

According to a GI report, a studio from the remains of Realtime Worlds has been set up to finish off work on Project: MyWorld.

As previously announced, 23 people from the project were re-hired on Friday after the developer went into administration last week.

It's now thought the staff is being brought in to a new studio being set up by a potential MyWorld buyer to finish off the project.

A deal is expected to be announced early this week.

"The entire MyWorld team was called in for a meeting yesterday, during which people found out who was being rehired," a source close to the Dundee studio told the site.

"Afterwards, senior members of the team were told about the new deal and that it was just a matter finalising the paperwork."
