Report - New Bond game "recently got go-ahead"

A Deadline report has claimed that a new James Bond game has been greenlighted by Activision following news last night that the Bond 23 movie was back in play.

The new film, which again stars Daniel Craig as 007, will release on November 9, 2012. Pre-production will begin on the project later this year.

But Deadline says that the new game in the series "recently got the go-ahead".

It's been rumoured that Singularity developer Raven Software is developing the game.

Activision acquired the James Bond IP from EA in 2006. Since then, it's released three games: Treyarch's Quantum of Solace, Eurocom's Goldeneye 007 and Bizarre's Blood Stone.
