Report - Neil Burger in talks to helm Uncharted film

The Uncharted film may have found a new writer and director in Neil Burger.
Variety reports Burger is in negotiations to take over the project.
Sony Pictures and producers Avi Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are said to have approved Burger's pitch.
Burger directed Limitless, The Lucky Ones, The Illusionist and Interview with Assassin. He also wrote the latter three screenplays.
The film was previously in the hands of David O. Russell, of The Fighter and I Heart Huckabees fame. His version was to star Mark Wahlberg in a story about a family of criminals defending justice and honour.
Rumours say Sony wasn't impressed.
