EA president mentions Battlefield 4 during college keynote

During a keynote at the University of Southern California, EA president Frank Gibeau pretty much confirmed Battlefield 4 - although EA has hastened to asure gamers nothing has been announced.

"There is going to be a Battlefield 4," Gibeau said

EA has issued a statement expanding on Gibeau's comments, and putting down talk of an "announce" of Battlefield 4:

"Frank was speaking broadly about the Battlefield brand – a brand that EA is deeply passionate about and a fan community that EA is committed to," the publisher told GamePron.

Battlefield 3 released last month to rave reviews.
