Report - 3DS to go on sale in China as iQue 3DS

3ds

Nintendo has managed to secure a release of 3DS in China via distributor iQue, according to a Gamrade report.

The system, which will be rebranded the iQue 3DS, will release in the country in April, two months after Japan and a month after the west.

The Chinese have banned most games consoles, but have made exceptions, notably with the original DS.

Kinect was the latest to suffer the country's wrath.

3DS will launch in Japan on February 26. Europe and the US gets it in March. Launch details for both will likely come next week in events in Amsterdam and New York.
