Control dev Remedy signs with Epic Games for two unannounced, multi-platform projects

Remedy is working on two games in the same franchise for PC and next-gen consoles.

Control and Alan Wake developer Remedy has announced the signing of a new agreement with Epic Games' new publishing label. The company will publish two Remedy-developed games, due on PC and next-gen consoles in the next few years.

The first is a AAA game Remedy calls its most ambitious to date, currently in pre-production. The second is a smaller-scale project set in the same universe. Remedy did not name the franchise in question.

Both games are being developed on Remedy's in-house Northlight engine. Remedy previously said it's working on three projects, one of which is a live service game. That project does not appear to be the one being referred to in today's news, seeing as Remedy previously said the game wont use Northlight.
