Red Dead Redemption 2 - how to make friends with a lonely giant
Red Dead Redemption 2 is stuffed full of easter eggs and one of them lets you befriend a lonely giant.
If you want to track the giant down, you first need to have studied at least 30 different species of animal. So whip out your binoculars and get to work.
Done? Okay, the next step is to head to the north of the map, directly east of the Wapati Indian Reservation on the west side of the river. Follow the road east, then you want to be by the water’s edge where the road splits off.
There you should see a flock of birds take flight. Don’t shoot the birds. Keep an eye on them and they should fly away. Chase after the birds and they will lead you down a canyon, eventually to a blocked off cave where you’ll hear the giant speak to you.
Once you’ve had the first conversation, you can go back for another one in three days. Here’s a video showing you the steps:
