PSA: don’t bother trekking up to Colter for the Red Dead Online Daily
If you’re hoping to tick off today’s Daily Challenges in Red Dead Online, it might be worth forgetting to visit Colter.
According to posts all over the game’s subreddit, the challenge is currently bugged. Players are hoofing it up into the cold mountains, which is no easy feat in this expansive, hostile world, and the challenge just isn’t popping.

A recent patch also improved the animal spawn rates all across Red Dead Online's map. While many players are reporting more animal sightings, it's still some way off parity with the single-player experience. Perhaps the inevitable next-gen version will be the big fix the issue needs.
