Rayman Origins reviews show critical love

Platformers may not be the most fashionable genre, but Michael Ancel's beautifully animated take on Ubisoft's mascot has drawn solid review scores for Rayman Origins.

Rayman Origins releases on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and Wii in the US on November 15, and arrives in Australia and Europe on November 24 and 25 respectively. 3DS and Vita versions are expected at a later date. It has co-op multiplayer and boasts native HD visuals; the purpose-built middleware behind the game will be going open-source.

Nothing below an 8 so far. Looking pretty good then - which Ubisoft has hinted could mean good things for Beyond Good & Evil hopefuls.

The reviews below are mainly based on the Xbox 360 version, with the Wii release not pulling much attention yet. As always, list other scores you find in the comments below.
