Rawlinson resigns from UKIE helm

Michael Rawlinson has stepped down from his role at the head of UK games industry trade organisation, UKIE.

Rawlinson had been involved with the organisation for over a decade, and led it for two years, Eurogamer reports.

His advocacy was a key factor in the creation of the first Europe-wide games rating system, PEGI.

Rawlinson is said to be moving on in order to pursue new challenges elsewhere.

"The board of UKIE would like to thank Michael on behalf of the members and the wider industry in general, for all the hard work that he has put in on our behalf particularly with the Government,"
UKIE chairman Andy Payne said in a statement.

Add us to that list. Thank you and good luck, sir.
