Check out 15 minutes of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gameplay

Sony has released the State of Play video featuring 15 minutes of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gameplay.

The video for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart shows our playable hero, and newcomer Rivet, jumping between dimensions, handling a varied arsenal, and trying to save the galaxy from Nefarious.

Today's video provided the most in-depth look yet at the game, and it looks rather nice, with plenty of detail bringing Nefarious City to life, as well as Rivet’s home base on the alternate dimension Sargasso.

Due to the near-instant loading feature of PS5, it will be smooth sailing when jumping through rifts, using Ratchet's Rift Tether, and when dealing with dimensional shifts, and pocket dimensions.

The team at Insomniac also showed the various traversal mechanics like Phantom Dash and wall-running and showed how Ratchet and Rivet can utilize these abilities and the Rift Tether.

With weapons, the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will make sure you feel every trigger pull, and speaking of which, the video also revealed plenty of weapons at your disposal, including a new one called the NegaTron Collider.

Accessibility options include a toggle-able Game Speed mode, and more details on accessibility will be shared at a later date.

You can expect all-new open levels to explore, Clank puzzles, Glitch combat, arena challenges, aerial combat, and a Ratchet & Clank Photo Mode.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releases on June 11, 2021.
