Quick Rainbow Six Siege patch punishes exploiters

Rainbow Six Siege is getting the loving developer support it deserves.

A new Rainbow Six Siege update has rolled out on all platforms.

The patch follows very closely on last week's major matchmaking and hit registration update, because Ubisoft felt it "needed to quickly fix some issues".

The major highlights are server tick rate improvements for console users, extra anti-cheat measures and most importantly a fix for an annoying exploit.

The community recently discovered some ways to get out of their assigned zones during preparation phase, and Ubisoft is testing an insta-kill configuration affecting any who manage this feat on Xbox One. If it works out, the measure will be permanently activated on all platforms.

There are also a swathe of big fixes reported by users. Check the full patch notes on the Ubisoft forums.
