Rag Doll Kung Fu reboot heading to iOS, summer release planned

Rag Doll Kung Fu is being rebooted by former Fable developers under a new three-strong studio called Another Place Productions. The team is eyeing up an iOS release for the physics-based brawler this summer.

Eurogamer reports that while Rag Doll Kung Fu was originally created by Media Molecule co-founder and LittleBigPlnet creator Mark Healey, he has given Another Place Productions permission to reboot the game.

Former Lionhead technical director Guillaume Portes told the site, "I went to the Media Molecule Christmas party and had a chat with him there. Mark being Mark, he was just like, 'Yeah all right, do it.' I said, 'Okay, great!' So we started working on it on 26th December."

The game will be free on iOS and supported by in-app purchases such as vanity items, boosters and more.
