Racial slur slips into Minecraft translation project

A scurrilous Minecraft user pulled a swifty on Mojang, adding a racial epithet to the game's crowd-sourced Afrikaans translation. Lead developer Jens Bergensten apologised for not catching the user, but it should be noted that Mojang does not produce Minecraft's translations, instead asking fans to pool their knowledge and get the job done. The slur has since been removed. If you would like to contribute to Minecraft's translation efforts in a more positive way, check out the project page.
