Quick shots - RIFT's Storm Legion is full of dragons and robots

Robots, dragons, and possibly even robot dragons in RIFT's upcoming Storm Legion expansion.

As well as these screenshots and concept images, Trion also sent us a baffling array of words arranged in sentences which probably make sense to RIFT fans, but not to me. Apparently, the Storm Legion is some sort of spin-off to Crucia's Blood Storm, formed when a bunch of them were left behind on Telara, on the continent of Brevane.

Whatever the heck Crucia is, even the dragon god of the Plane of Death is afraid of her, apparently. She's entombed beneath Iron Pine Peak but that doesn't stop her summoning her armies to battle.

Finally, there's a thing called an Infinity Gate, which you can only get to should you be happy to wade into territory held by the Storm Legion.

No, I don't understand it either. Storm Legion, the first major expansion for the MMORPG, is expected in northern autumn.
