First gameplay demonstration of Quantum Break shown at gamescom 2014

Remedy showed the first demonstration of Quantum Break's time-amplified gameplay at gamescom 2014 today.

The cinematography director for the transmedia offering exclusive to Xbox One was hired on as a consultant for the various camera effects so the animators will be able to maintain the same style through both the TV series and the game.

Each episode will close to 30 minutes each and the first season of the game will ship in its entirety.

In Quantum Break, time is breaking down and stuttering, so there will be times when it literally stops. One of the three main characters Jack Joyce, can manipulate time. It sounds like Inception-type gameplay.

Imagine Alan Wake with no flashlight and time manipulation capabilities and you get the gist.

Quantum Break is still without a release date.
