PUBG player works out that non Event Pass owners need to play 6-8 hours per day for 29 days to reach level 20

It seems a great deal of the feedback players online have about the first PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Event Pass has been negative.

The PUBG Sanhok Event Pass, which went live with the new map on Friday, offers a number of rewards for players willing to pay $10, and grind out its 30 levels.

For players who prefer not to pay, however, things are a lot less enticing. Though you have a couple of guaranteed rewards, including two new ones added after the fact following feedback, you're only limited to 20 of the 30 levels the pass offers.

Not only that, but one of the major ways to earn XP, staying alive in matches, nets non-owners of the pass half the XP points. Most of the missions will also only give out XP rewards to owners of the pass.

According to Reddit user iisfitblud's estimate, you'll need to play six to eight hours per day for the entire season (29 days) to reach level 20.

The Reddit user even offered a breakdown of how many days it would take - assuming you can play six to eight hours a day - to unlock the various free rewards.

The Snowflower parachute skin, for instance, a level 20 unlock, requires 29 days of work, which means you're already out of luck if you've yet to start, unless you're willing to play more than eight hours a day to compensate.

There are a couple of free missions that offer XP rewards when completed, but those are being taken into account in this breakdown. PUBG's communication lead, Ryan Rigney, responded to these concerns, promising changes this week that'll make it a little easier to reach level 20.
