PSPgo users may miss out on camera-enabled games

PSPgo owners in North America itching for camera-enabled games like EyePet PSP and Invizimals may be out of luck.

According to a post over on the US PS Blog,  senior social media specialist Sid Shuman said the PSP camera was "designed for pre-Go models only," the "current camera will only fit onto the larger PSP model", and there's "no workarounds".

However, the PSPgo converter cable shown at TGS last year could possibly work, as Joystiq points out, but it has yet to make its way to the US.

When the site asked Sony about it, a rep said there wasn't "any information yet on a peripheral attachment for the Go".

There's always the option of importing the cable from Japan, which should  do the trick.
