PSP go drops to $150 in the US following PSP-3000 cut

A week after cutting PSP-3000 models to $129.99 in the US, Sony has dropped PSP Go by $50 to $149.99 in the region.

SCEA's site has updated its official PSP site to read, "Now you can enjoy the sleek, totally-digital PSP Go system for $149.99 MSRP and the unsurpassed PSP-3000 system for $129.99 MSRP," as noticed by Gama.

Sony released PSP Go in October 2009 for $249, cutting it to $199 a year later.

Sony's price-cutting of PSP is a lead-in to the release of NGP later this year.

Since PSP released in 2004, the machine has sold 67.8 million units worldwide, 23 million of which were sold in North America.
